DAY 1: Cape Town to Stellenbosch D
Today
we'll bring you to the World famous Blouberg Strand to have a last look
at Table Mountain for the next following days. After pictures have been
taken we cycle through scenic countryside to the Cape's famous Wine region
and old town Stellenbosch. After checking into our lodge we'll head out
to see what the town has to offer. If you want, you can take part in one
of the wine tastings.

DAY 2: Hellshoogte Pass - Franschhoek
BD
Today we'll have about 45 km to cycle. The support vehicle will take anyone
over steep hills and passes that would prefer that. After leaving Stellenbosch
we cycle over Hellshoogte Pass into Franschhoek. En route we can enjoy
another wine tasting if anyone likes. After the wine tasting we'll transfer
the last few kilometers into Franschhoek. In the afternoon you can explore
the quaint village of Franschhoek

DAY 3: Hermanus BD
Today
we'll have a longer driving day and leave the wine lands to head towards
the coast. Our destination is Hermanus, in season one of the best places
to spot whales. Once we've arrived we'll explore this little coastal town
by bike
Accommodation: Windsor Hotel or similar in Hermanus (rooms with en-suite
bathrooms, bar & restaurant
DAY 4: Hermanus B
Today we'll take you into a nature reserve outside of Hermanus. Here we
can cycle the whole morning through forest roads and have lunch in the
nature reserve (Fernkloof Nature Reserve). The afternoon is free to enjoy
Hermanus or take part in optional activities like Shark Cage Diving.

bathrooms, bar & restaurant)
DAY
5: Cape Point Nature Reserve BD
Today we'll transfer you to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. The whole day
is spent cycling along various roads and of course to the Cape Point,
where you can leave your bicycles and walk to the Lighthouse. After having
enjoyed this pristine environment we'll give you a lift back to Cape Town
for a final night.

& restaurant)
Day 6: Cape Town
Today the tour ends in Cape Town.

Transport:
We use a fully equipped Toyota Hi-Ace or Minibuses with comfortable seating,
large windows and a music system. All luggage is carried on the vehicle
or trailer roof racks. You'll be riding a mountain bike but are more than
welcome to make use of the back-up vehicle whenever you feel like.
Accommodation:
Accommodation will be in Lodges and Guest Houses of a mid range standard.
Spending money:
Clients are advised to bring enough money to cover the purchase of curios,
and additional entertainment. There are automatic teller machines (ATM's)
available everywhere to draw money. Foreign exchange into the local currency
is possible in most large cities through which we pass.
International credit cards and travelers cheques are widely accepted.
Meals:
The menu is of high standard and can be adapted to cater for any dietary
preferences.
First Aid:
Our guides are trained in basic first aid and the vehicle is equipped
with a comprehensive medical aid kit. Preventative Malaria medication
should be taken before the trip and throughout its duration, although
it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to departure.
Luggage:
Maximum baggage allowance: 12 kg. We stipulate this luggage allowance,
as an overloaded vehicle is a danger to both the clients and the guide.
This does not include photographic equipment and a small daypack. Please
bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase.
Insurance:
It is compulsory for all travelers to have insurance covering their personal
requirements, medical expenses and personal possessions. This is to be
arranged before leaving home country.
