In
the morning of day 2 transfer to Wilson Airport for a flight to
Tsavo West NP. Tsavo is Kenya’s largest NP, the home
of the legendary “man-eaters of Tsavo”. It is semi arid
in a level, open country with scattered rocky ridges and hills.
Due to its size, the park is one of the world's wildlife and
biodiversity strongholds. There are large herds of Elephants,
Buffaloes, Zebras, Gazelles, Lions, Hyenas and other wildlife
and it is one of the best bird watching areas in Kenya. Why
go to Tsavo? For solitude, privacy and excellent chance to explore
the wilderness.
On
day 4 you transfer by road to Amboseli, which lays immediately
North West of Mt. Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania and
is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty
because the landscape is dominated by Africa’s highest mountain.
The National Park embodies 5 main wildlife habitats: open
plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and
marshlands. These diverse habitats support large concentrations
of wildlife even during the dry season and they also support a
wide variety of birds.
