Mauritius boasts a coral-fringed coastline
of white beaches and pretty bays. Inland it is a mix of jagged mountain
scenery countered by lush green sugar plantations. The island offers
long safe, sandy beaches and superb water sports, particularly scuba
diving and deep-sea fishing. Non-divers can don helmet and weights for
an undersea walk, take a submarine descent or enjoy a glass-bottom boat
trip. Most resort hotels offer the full range of watersports such as
water-skiing, scuba diving, pedal boats, jet skiing and even parasailing.
Diverse cultures, Hindu, Muslim, Chinese
and European, coexist happily and the various religious rites and festivals

Day 1 : Scheduled Flight from Johannesburg ,Transfer to Belle Mare

You board your flight from Johannesburg on Air Mauritius. On arrival
in Mauritius you are met and transferred to the Belle Mare Plage resort
on the East coast of Mauritius.Prevailing winds make the east coast
notably drier in summer too, and a little cooler. The Belle Mare Plage
is set in lush tropical gardens along a magnificent coral protected
beach. Each en-suite room is air-conditioned and opens onto a balcony
that faces the gardens and the sea. The new super-luxury villas have
private pools and outdoor shower, within an individual walled garden
and tended to by a butler.
Day 2 : Relaxing at the Belle Mare Plage
The hotel has two restaurants, two bars and restaurant and bar at the
nearby golf club. The leisure facilities include two swimming pools,
kids club (4-12 yrs), jacuzzi, four tennis courts, a squash court, a
gym with sauna, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, dive centre, snorkelling
and water-skiing. However, it is perhaps for golf that it is best known
- two 18 hole champion courses are laid out in tropical splendour close
to the hotel. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, golf clinic, restaurant
and bar.
Day 3 : Exploring further afield
The country is also justly famed for its hospitality and friendliness.
Nothing is too much trouble in this relaxed cultural melting pot! Diverse
cultures, Hindu, Muslim, Chinese and European, coexist happily and the
various religious rites and festivals lend an additional fascination
and colour to life on the island. The hotel can also arrange sightseeing
expeditions to offshore islands, to the mountainous interior and to
the towns. Car rental is also on offer if you wish to explore under
your own steam.

This morning you are transferred back to the airport in time for your

Day 1 : Transfer to Le Touesserok for
7 nights, East Coast, Dinner, B&B
On arrival in Mauritius you are met and transferred to Le Touesserok
on the East coast of island. The protective coral reef that circles
the whole island offers great snorkelling and diving. As well as the
reefs, if you are an experienced diver, there are numerous shipwrecks
to explore with a guide. Prevailing winds make the east coast notably
drier in summer too, and a little cooler. The Le Touessrok enjoyed a
stylish new makeover in 2002 and is looking spectacular. It offers the
best of tropical luxury in the most sublime setting. Imagine a luxury
hotel built for the most part on its own island. A short distance away,
another tropical island serves as its exclusive playground.
Day 2 : Relaxing at Le Touesserok
Le Touessrok has been called one of the world's great romantic getaways

Day 3 : Activities at the resort
On offer is a full range of watersports - the warm shallow water of
the lagoon is ideal for windsurfing and waterskiing, sailing, canoeiing
and snorkelling, and for watching the fish dart among the coral from
a glass-bottom boat. The waters are crystal clear and perfectly calm.
Theres also a superb tennis club and the Diving Centre offers
PADI courses scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and para-sailing at an additional
cost. The resorts private retreat island, Ilot Mangerier is five minutes
away by boat, a shipwreck-themed Robinson Crusoe-style hideaway.
Day 8 : Return to the Airport
This morning you are transferred back to the airport in time for your

Day 3 : Exploring further afield
