Deluxe / Luxury Camping / Serviced Camping / Budget Camping / Victoria Falls

Linyanti, Savute & Okavango

As conducted from Maun Airport to Kasane Itinerary:

Day 01 & 02:
Upon your arrival at Kasane Airport you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your light aircraft transfer to Savute Airstrip.
Spend two nights at Savute Under Canvas. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled game-drives, walking safaris and park fees.

Carefully positioned in exclusive semi permanent camps in central Chobe National Park, is the elegant Savute Under Canvas tented camp. Featuring just six superlative safari tents with ensuite bathroom, separate w.c. and hot water bucket shower – this is the ultimate in luxury camping. The guest areas comprise comfortable tents for dining, meeting for a pre-dinner drink, or just for whiling the time away between safaris – complete with private butler service, delicious Pan African meals, and traditional bush dinners served under the stars.

During the rainy season, Savute, a famous corner of Chobe National Park hosts the annual zebra migration, which peaks in January and February when the zebra and wildebeest congregate in vast numbers to graze on the sweeter grasses brought on by the rains. It is not uncommon to also catch sight of leopard, cheetah and African wild dog. Savute also supports the greatest concentration of the king of all beasts – the lion. The landscape of Savute is strikingly different from the lush Chobe riverfront, with an almost desert–like feeling that has animals escaping the heat by grouping together in the limited available shade. The stark dead trees found in the dry Savute channel are evidence of an erratic flow of the Savute River over the years.

Day 03 & 04: Transfer by light aircraft to Kwando Airstrip. Spend two nights at Kwando Lagoon Camp in a twin bedded tent. Your stay is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities.

Day 05 & 06 Transfer by light aircraft to Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp / Sandibe Safari Lodge.

Spend two nights at Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp in a twin bedded East African style safari tent pitched on an elevated platform.
Your stay is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities.
Guests have a choice of daily activities including meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro, exploring the deeper channels by motor boat, nature walks accompanied by an unarmed professional guide, or tracking game by open 4x4-safari vehicle in the Mopane Forests and open grasslands. The added highlight of an evening game drive by spotlight assures you of the most complete lodge experience in Botswana.

Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp is located on the edge of the Okavango Delta in a 7 000-hectare (17 300-acre) exclusive wildlife concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Meaning “Place of the Giraffe”, Nxabega is ideally positioned to explore the magnificence of the Okavango – the largest inland delta in the world. A wetland wilderness of looping channels, islands forested with palms and wide grassy floodplains, the Delta is home to a magnificent array of wild animals and exceptional birdlife. Guests are able to experience this irresistible combination of water and wildlife on twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, mokoro and powerboat excursions.
