Botswana A La Carte– serviced safaris

You can arrange your own group from 6 persons or more ( 2 persons from Jan. - June & Nov.-Dec.). We will assist in planning your itinerary and will handle your booking and travel arrangements. . Below is a sample itinerary that can be altered to suite your requests:

5 nights “under canvas” and 1 night hotel accommodation at the Mercure Rainbow in Victoria Falls

Day 1: Maun – transfer from Maun airport to the camp in Maun. We relax around the campfire under the bright stars of the southern hemisphere. ( camping & dinner)

Day 2/3: Moremi Wildlife Reserve / Khwai area. We travel to the Khwai flood plains and enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. We relax and unwind in this wilderness area. ( camping, all meals + game drives)

Day 4: Chobe National Park / Savuti area . This 11,600km 2 Park contains one of the largest concentrations of wild animals in Africa, particularly lions, hyenas and a number of other predators. Vast herds of buffalo, zebra, kudu, lechwe, puku, elephant and others, feed in these marshes while hippo and crocodile inhabit the waterways. ( camping, all meals + game drives)

Day 5: Chobe National Park / Chobe area. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. In the evenings we may see large herds of elephant drinking at the river. ( camping, all meals + game drives & cruise)

Day 6: Victoria Falls. We travel to Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights where the waters of the mighty Zambezi River tumble down in continuous thunder. The day is spent at leisure and there are various optional excursions available:- a flight over the Falls, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River etc. 1 night Mercure Rainbow Hotel (or similar). ( accommodation, with breakfast only)

Day 7: Victoria Falls. The safari ends after breakfast. ( breakfast)

FLIGHTS:
Johannesburg/ Maun (or vv): +-Euro 190 p/p excluding taxes

Maun/ Windhoek (or vv): Euro 160 net p/p excluding taxes

Serviced safari: No camp duties. Accommodation is provided in spacious dome tents. A portable bush shower is available and a bush toilet is installed when camping in the wild. Each passenger is provided with a high density, thick foam mattress and comfortable safari folding chair.

Crew: Services of a professional safari guide and a camp assistant/ cook.
Meals: Prepared by the guide and cook, all meals when camping. Breakfast only in Victoria Falls.
Transfers: Airport transfers in Maun are provided on day 1. Transfers in Victoria Falls (+-€10 p/p) may be pre-booked.
Sleeping bag hire: €24 - must be booked in advance.

Price excludes: flights, airport taxes, visa costs, drinks (and mineral water). Lunches and dinners plus excursions & entrances in Victoria Falls. Gratuities and items of a personal nature.
