Day 1 - Depart from New York or
Washington, DC for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg
on South African Airways.
Day 2 - On arrival at Johannesburgs Oliver Tambo International
Airports Central Terminal Building/Terminal B, collect your luggage
and then clear Customs & Immigration. Connect with your flight to
Cape Town. On arrival you will be met (please look out for your names
on a signboard in the Arrivals Hall) by a South African Airways Vacations
representative and taken by private transfer to the Vineyard Hotel.
Originally built in 1799 by Lady Anne Barnard,
the Vineyard Hotel & Spa is an admired blend of historical and contemporary
design. Known for its spectacular quiet setting, on the banks of the
Liesbeeck River, the 4-star deluxe Vineyard Hotel & Spa is situated
on six acres of landscaped gardens in a quiet and lush Cape Town suburb.
The Hotel is well known among Capetonians for its peaceful setting,
mouth watering cuisine and fine wines. The Hotel takes full advantage
of its scenic surroundings, and the sunny lounge and terrace areas overlook
the gardens with superb views of Table Mountain. The
Vineyard Hotel offers attentive hospitality, two restaurants, an award
winning Conference Center and excellent leisure facilities. Accommodation
consists of 175 spacious bedrooms with large windows that open onto
mountain or courtyard views. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, remote
control TV, trouser press, dressing gowns and tea and coffee-making
facilities. Guests may enjoy delicious Asian fusion cuisine at Myoga,
or different fare in the more informal, The Square Restaurant, which
has a glass-roof.
A range of treatments is offered at the
Angsana Spa, including Thai and Swedish massages, purifying facials,
body polish treatments and refreshing rainmist sessions. The Vineyard
Hotel also provides a Health & Fitness Center and two heated swimming
pools for your enjoyment.

Day 3 - Today you will have at leisure to explore Cape Town or
just relax at the hotel. Cape Town is a city with a diverse range of
attractions, sights and activities to offer and it has something for
everyone. From the landmark beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to the
vibrant V&A Waterfront and Cape Town city center, the award-winning
wine farms of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek - time spent in Cape Town
will not be forgotten. Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway
to a majestic continent. The Mother City is a place where old and new
harmoniously converge in history, architecture, cultural pursuits
and the essence of its people. The city is dominated by a towering,
table-shaped mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights
and lush valleys, where two oceans converge- Indian and Atlantic. Natural
beauty and the fast pace and bright lights of a great urban centre meld
effortlessly here. Cape Town offers a myriad things to do and places
to see, whatever your tastes, inclinations or budget.
You also have the option to take a complimentary
transfer from the Vineyard Hotel & Spa to/from Cavendish Square,

Day 4 - Today you will be taken on a complimentary visit to Kirstenbosch
Gardens. This evening enjoy a complimentary 3-course dinner for two
at The Square Restaurant at the Vineyard Hotel, excluding drinks.
With over 3500 species of flora and fauna,
Kirstenbosch Gardens is regarded as one of the finest botanical gardens
in the world. With the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain, theres
nothing to touch it. Kirstenbosch has remarkable floral displays throughout
the year. There is also an exhibit of Zimbabwean stone sculptures in
the sculpture garden that is fascinating and kids will enjoy playing
around these massive works. Kirstenbosch is for the entire family and

Day 5 - Today you will be taken on a complimentary visit to a
Constantia Wine Farm. Constantia is the birthplace of the wine farming
industry in South Africa. As you drive through the beautiful historical
valley it is no wonder the first Governor of the Cape, Simon van der
Stel, chose this area for his farm, Constantia. The world famous wines
from Constantia were sought after by royalty in the eighteenth century,
and still to this day, world class wines are being produced and receive
accolades for its escalating quality. That quality is still maintained
today and each of the five vineyards produces award-winning wines. Today
visitors to Constantia are also welcomed by the tranquility and beauty
which charmed Simon van der Stel so much. Wine may be tasted and bought
at the Constantia estates which also house souvenir and gift shops.

Day 6 - Today you will be taken by private transfer from the
Vineyard Hotel to the DOuwe Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch, nestled
in the beautiful Cape Winelands. This evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner
for two at DOuwe Werf Hotel, excluding drinks.
D'Ouwe Werf Hotel is situated in the heart
of the Winelands, within easy reach of all the attractions in the Western
Cape. D'Ouwe Werf was established in 1802 and has gracefully welcomed
guests since then. The historic hotel has 38 individually decorated
en-suite bedrooms, a gorgeous courtyard with a swimming pool and a restaurant,
with fine traditional Cape fare. Friendly staff will be happy to inform
you of all the wonderful activities in and around Stellenbosch. Accommodation:

Day 7 - Today you will be taken on a complimentary Vine Hopper
trip in Stellenbosch. The exciting Vine Hopper
Trip (Hop-on-hop-off service on the Stellenbosch wine route) is the
only way to experience Stellenbosch's surroundings by hopping on or
hopping off anywhere, anytime on the wine route. Visit several wine
estates and you decide where and how long you want to stay at each farm.
Stellenbosch is the second oldest European
settlement in South Africa, which has some of the best preserved historical
buildings. Steeped in history, this beautiful university town is the
heart of the Cape Winelands region, and is surrounded by stunning wine
estates. You will also see fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture.

Day 8 - Today you will be taken by private transfer from DOuwe
Werf Hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg.

with your scheduled international South African Airways flight back
to the USA.
Day 9 - Arrive in New York or Washington,
